E o vencedor é...

"On behalf of Sebastian and myself, I would like to say how delighted we are that Keyflower has been chosen as the winner of the 'Jogo do Ano 2012' award. There were several great games published in 2012 and included in the shortlist, which makes winning the award all the more pleasing. We tried to design a game which was accessible, provided lots of player interaction through the game mechanisms and required meaningful and interesting decisions which led to positive actions and results. It is rewarding when these efforts are recognised in this way and we would like to thank all of those who were involved in the game’s selection and those Portuguese gamers who have played the game. Hopefully after this award there will be many more! We are excited about a full expansion for the game ‘Keyflower - the Farmers’, which will be released at the Essen Spiel in October 2013, as this brings even more variety into the game and introduces animeeples into the fields created by the road layout. So if gamers have enjoyed Keyflower, we feel sure they will enjoy it even more with the Keyflower – the Farmers expansion.
